Pet Details: Name, type, breed, gender, vaccination records, and related health details (if voluntarily provided). Service and Business Data: Service listings, pricing, descriptions, availability, and ratings. Payment Information: Data necessary for escrow and payout processing (handled securely via Flutterwave). Communication Data: Messages, chats, reviews, or support requests. 2.2 Information We Collect Automatically Device Information: Device type, model, operating system, app version, browser type, and IP address. Usage Data: Log data, page views, clicks, search history, and interactions with the app. Location Data: GPS or approximate location for nearby service or delivery matching (only when granted permission). Notification Tokens: FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) device tokens for sending push notifications. 2.3 Information from Third Parties We may receive information from: Payment processors (e.g., Flutterwave) regarding payment confirmation and fraud checks. Authentication partners (Google, Apple, or social logins). Referral programs, advertising networks, or analytics partners.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your information for the following purposes: Account creation and verification Processing payments and managing escrow transactions securely Connecting pet owners with service providers or vendors Customer support and dispute resolution Loyalty and reward programs (earning and redeeming PawsPoints) Sending push notifications and promotional messages Improving app performance, personalization, and analytics Preventing fraud, abuse, or prohibited conduct Legal and regulatory compliance, including tax and anti-money laundering obligations

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Compliance)

For users within the European Economic Area (EEA) or other GDPR jurisdictions, we process data under these lawful bases: Contractual necessity: To provide core Pawsibu services. Legitimate interest: To enhance user experience, ensure security, and prevent fraud. Consent: For push notifications, marketing, or optional data like pet health info. Pawsibu does not sell user data. We only share information in the following cases: 5.1 Service Transactions To complete bookings, purchases, or deliveries between users (e.g., sharing a pet owner's contact details with a booked groomer). 5.2 Payment Processing With Flutterwave and other licensed payment partners for escrow, refunds, and payouts. 5.3 Technical and Support Services With trusted vendors providing hosting, analytics, customer support, SMS/email delivery, or notification services. 5.4 Legal Compliance When required by law, regulation, or government request, or to protect Pawsibu's rights, users, and the public. 5.5 Business Transfers If Pawsibu undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to continued protection under this Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain user information for as long as necessary to: Fulfill service obligations, Comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and Resolve disputes or enforce agreements. Inactive accounts may be anonymized or deleted after 24 months of inactivity. Users can request deletion of their account and associated data (see Section 10).

We use industry-standard measures to protect user data, including: SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmissions, Encrypted storage for sensitive information, Role-based access control for internal staff, Regular vulnerability audits and backups. However, no online service is completely secure. You use Pawsibu at your own risk.

Our Platform uses cookies and similar technologies for: User authentication and session management, Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics), Personalized recommendations, Marketing and retargeting. You can manage or delete cookies via your browser settings, but disabling them may affect functionality.

We may send: Transactional notifications: e.g., service confirmations, payment receipts, chat messages. Promotional content: e.g., offers, new features, loyalty updates. Essential communications cannot be disabled as they are required for service delivery.
